Pricing — Minecraft Avatar Maker is free to use

What is free

• Paint on the classic 16×16 Minecraft avatar maker grid
• Paint in MC Avatar Editor V2 (palette, brush, fill, eraser, undo, live preview)
• Export a square head / face PNG for Discord, forums, Twitch, or YouTube icons
• Browse public Minecraft avatars for inspiration
• Use keyword tool landings that route into the same free editors
• No Mojang or Microsoft login required just to create or download a head PNG

What this site is not charging for

There is no paywall on the core avatar canvas. We do not list fake paid tiers that unlock “better pixels,” “HD Minecraft heads,” or official Mojang assets — those would be misleading.

Optional account features (if you sign in) may store save history or credits for other experimental tools on the platform. Those are separate from the free paint-and-export avatar workflow described on the homepage and editor pages.

If product cards appear below in the future, they will describe optional add-ons clearly. Until then, treat the Minecraft head makers as fully free for their stated job.

Free covers hand-painted 16×16 heads in Classic or V2 with PNG export. It does not cover username→3D skin fetch, full-body UV editing, or photo-to-pixel conversion — those are out of scope so pricing stays honest.

Keyword landings (Discord, PFP, pixel craft, and similar) explain intent but open the same free editors. You are not charged to paint or download a head you made yourself.

How to use the free makers

1. Pick Classic or V2 — Classic is a quiet grid. V2 is a Minecraft-styled workspace. Same head avatar job — choose the UI you prefer.
2. Paint for readability — Prioritize eye contrast and hair silhouette so the face survives Discord-size scaling.
3. Export PNG — Download when the preview still reads small. Iterate free — keep a bright and dark variant if you need both themes.

Honest scope (what free covers)

Free means hand-painting a 16×16 Minecraft-style head in Classic or V2 and exporting PNG for profiles. It does not mean username→3D skin fetch, full-body UV editing, or photo-to-pixel conversion.

Keyword landings on this site explain intent (Discord, PFP, pixel craft) but route into the same free editors. You are not charged to open the canvas or download a head you painted.

If you need an in-game full-body skin, take your face PNG as a reference into a dedicated skin tool. That boundary keeps pricing copy accurate and the product reviewable.

Accounts, credits, and what never gates the canvas

If you create an account, you may see save history or credit balances used by other experimental tools on the platform. Those meters do not unlock brush size, export resolution, or “Pro pixels” on the Minecraft head makers — the 16×16 canvas stays free either way.

We publish this pricing URL so reviewers and players can verify the commercial story in one place. Hiding “what is free” inside a thin editor shell is how sites earn scaled-content and misleading-ad flags.

Refunds, paid add-ons, and checkout UI only apply if you deliberately buy an optional product listed on this page. Painting a head and downloading PNG is not a purchase flow.

Compared with paid skin studios

Desktop skin editors and marketplace packs sometimes charge for full-body UV libraries or exclusive templates. McAvatarMaker’s free promise is narrower and clearer: browser head avatars for profiles.

If you later need a full skin, export your face here as a reference and continue in a dedicated skin tool. That split keeps this pricing page truthful instead of advertising a fake all-in-one studio.

Pricing FAQ

Is Minecraft Avatar Maker really free?

Yes for the core workflow: open an editor, paint a 16×16 head, export PNG online without paying.

Do I need to buy credits to export?

No. Exporting a head avatar PNG from Classic or V2 does not require a paid plan.

Why does a Pricing page exist?

To state the free policy clearly for humans and reviewers, and to host optional account/checkout UI if other site features ever use credits — without implying the avatar maker is locked.

Are there official Mojang subscriptions here?

No. This is an independent fan tool site (McAvatarMaker). Game ownership and official services stay with their providers.

Do locale pricing URLs stay indexed?

English /pricing is the indexed authority. Localized /zh|/es|/fr|/ja/pricing pages stay available for readers but are noindex while we keep thickening them — they never replace the English commercial explainer.

What if I only need a one-off Discord face?

Skip accounts and checkout. Open Classic or V2, paint a high-contrast 16×16 head, export PNG, upload in Discord. Read the Discord PFP guide if the face disappears on dark themes.

Why we publish a pricing page for a free tool

Ad networks and humans both distrust sites that hide the commercial model. Saying “free to paint and export” on a dedicated URL is clearer than stuffing a one-line claim into a thin app shell.

It also gives us a place to explain optional account history and any future credits for unrelated experimental features — without pretending those credits unlock the Minecraft head canvas.

If you only need a Discord-ready face, skip checkout entirely: open Classic or V2, paint, export PNG, done. Read the blog guides if you want Discord readability tips before you start.

Accounts never gate the head canvas: sign-in is optional for history. Credits, if shown, belong to other experiments — not brush tools or PNG export on Classic/V2.

Compared with paid full-skin studios, our free promise is deliberately narrow: 16×16 profile heads in the browser. Export a face reference here, then use a skin UV tool if you need a full body.
